ECO-RESORT

Despite the presence of a wide range of name brand hotels in the Airport market, it would be reasonable to market a site in the study area for hotel development. The challenge in siting a lodging property will be to take advantage of the Eastwick regional rail station, while still preserving visibility and accessibility from S. 84th Street and Bartram Avenue. A typical airport hotel averages 150 rooms and generally requires 2.0 to 2.5 acres for the building and parking. Hotel developers are typically sophisticated about adapting building designs to address floodplain issues. 

OFFICE AND HOTEL 

On balance, the study area is at a competitive disadvantage for offi ce development compared to either the Navy Yard or the offi ce complexes adjacent to the Airport in Tinicum Township. Because of the Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ) designation, the Navy Yard off ers developers, offi ce tenant businesses, and employees a signifi cant reduction in tax liability 

EASTWICK

The Eastwick neighborhood, in the far southwest of the City of Philadelphia, was the site of a major 1960s-era urban renewal project to build a "City within a City". To realize the plan, the Redevelopment Authority acquired almost 5,800 properties -- of which 2,500 had structures on them -- across 2,300 acres. Many of the properties contained occupied residential homes, requiring the use of eminent domain and relocation of over 8,000 residents.

FRUTA VILLAGGIO CITY

Creeks Compound 

This is a residential compound located in Alexandria, Egypt. The project was designed in an area of 900 acres. The project consists of a Huge mall, University, 10000 fish farms, Islamic, greek and Spanish districts. Because this project is owned by the INTERCONSULT company, I am not allowed to share full project details on my personal website.

The building consists of three main zones a lobby, office, and residential. It is directed towards the true north. Three massive main window is located on the south façade, while three other small ones are directed east. The EUI is low because solar energy can access the building easily from windows or skylights. In addition, the north façade is blocked to avoid the winter wind and thus heat loss.

T H E RADIANT temperature is high near the windows. From a temperature perspective, the red color near the south window shows that the temperature is around 28 degrees Celsius or more during the summer seasons. In the winter the red color is evolving more in the space because of the low angle of the sun that I have shown in a previous solar path diagram in the climate data of Philadelphia.  

T H E S. E. Temp. is following the pattern of the radiant temperature, but the major difference is that the temperature is higher and you can see that spaces are warmer.

THE PMV thermal comfort chart shows that there are some areas missing the thermal comfort during winter like the lobby zone because of the limited number of windows.

ALAHRAM NEWSPAPER HEADQUARTERS

Developing Project

AL-AHRAM Newspaper headquarters building is an ancient building in Egypt located in Cairo. The company decided to develop the building's facade without major plans changes. The new facade design is expressing the technology of the 21st century by the massive advertisement screens and modern design. The facade pattern was inspired by the paper's tissues. 

BARBECUES RESTAURANT 

Interior Design

The restaurant is located in New Minia City, Egypt. The client's goal was to maximize the number of seats with simple interior design in a wooden feature.

To design holistically is to design sustainably. By holistically understanding the site, the designer is able to gather more of the information needed to identify and evaluate the opportunities and challenges for adaptability.

By deeply knowing these, it is possible to develop the opportunities and change the challenges to provide a design that resonates with its culture and community, enhances the experience, performs well and improves the systemic relationships the site has within it as well as those of which it is a part.

For this project and this scale, the process will include thermal comfort, but also expand to the neighborhood scale. The main goal of this project is to develop the whole site without demolishing the main existing building.

The twin villas project is a residential luxurious project in Egypt for an extended family.

Minia Station Square

Development Project

Minia city located in upper Egypt decided to develop all the public spaces in the downtown. Therefore, the City requested design proposals from the faculty of fine arts in Minia university. I was required to develop the train station square.

ISCDC Design Competition 

Today's children are much less connected to the natural world than at any other time in history. Children spend on average 90% of their time pulled indoors in artificial built environments away from nature; the natural connection has been replaced with more interaction with the digital world, virtual experience, and less unstructured outdoor play.

Natural recycled Chalet

On the Nile Banks in Minia city, a landfill was converted to a sustainable natural Chalet for entertainment and relaxation. The project was inspired by the Nubian style and the brave colors played a strong role in the Design Concept.
